We went back to utah to visit family for Christmas break. We had so much fun spending time with family and friends, and Santa even found us at both Grandma's house.

As many of you know we also took Porter to his doctors appoitments over Christmas break. I just wanted to give an update on Porter. We took Porter to the eye doctor, this is his cute picture after the appoitment with his awesome glasses on. With that appoitment the doctor said that Porter will need surgery on his eyes when we get back from Grand Cayman. That is a little scary and I'm not sure how the surgery is done but anytime you get surgery on your eye it just sounds scary.
Then we took Porter to the Neurologist at Primary Children's hospital, we saw a different doctor this time a neuromuscular specialist. Overall talking with us and watching Porter she thinks he might have a dopamine deficiency, so she started Porter on a dopamine supplement to see if that might help him. We can't get a diagnoses until we do genetic testing and that is expensive so it might be awhile before we find out. We have started Porter on the drug and he is doing well on it. We haven't seen dramtic changes yet but he does seem like he is walking better and he is not crossing his eyes as much. So overall the drug seems like a good thing.

I think it is about time you blogged!! I have been checking a lot and thankfully I finally got to see your fun Christmas. I love the pic of Zoe, Kate and Porter. Poor Porter didn't get to take his red car back home, it is going to be like Christmas again in April. Miss you!
